MAVIS KNOWS SHE IS NOT GOING TO WIN ANY BEAUTY PAGEANTS BUT SHE WOULD WIN EVERY CONGENIALITY CONTEST EVERY GIVEN. Because Mavis adores people and being around them. Add to this her love of belly rubs and a good soak on a hot day in the kiddy pool and you can see she has a personality that charms and delights. Like so many dogs in this valley, Ms Mavis was abandoned and left to her own devices. She is young, smart and a pleaser who wants desperately to be important to someone. As far as Mavis is concerned, as long as she gets to spend time with you, she is a happy girl. Mavis loves to give kisses, to go for walks, to take car rides and to accompany you on life adventures. She is also cool with chillin on the couch or by your feet as you watch movies, read a book or work on the computer. She is an easy care girl with a beautiful shiny black coat, a friendly smile and a beguiling nature that cannot be seen through pictures. To love Mavis, you have to touch her. Te feel her melt into you. To feel her prickly whiskered kisses and to see the love shine in her eyes when you talk to her. She has been with us for well over a year and spent last Christmas in her kennel at the rescue center. Can we get her in her forever home this Christmas??
